Research results. The results of the study were an assessment of the reflection of key performance indicators of regional authorities in social strategies of youth. An assessment was made of the indicators of youth trust in social institutions and entities, attitudes towards life expectancy, youth involvement in physical education and sports, the desire for continuous education and self-education. The groups of young people involved in volunteer activities, engaged in entrepreneurial activities, and groups excluded from the talent support system were identified. Based on the assessments of young people, the quality of the surrounding and urban environment, the level of digitalization of the social sphere of the region were determined, and a cultural map of youth leisure was built.
Discussion. Certain problems associated with the orientation of young people to a short life expectancy were identified, and, as an associated indicator, low involvement in systematic physical education and sports, insufficient focus on continuous education, low involvement of young people in entrepreneurship, and insufficient readiness for potential economic investments in the region. All these problem areas indicate tasks for the targeted influence of youth policy management bodies on the formation and implementation of social strategies for young people
