DESIGNING THE DEVELOPMENTOF A CLOSED ADMINISTRATIVE TERRITORIAL ENTITY (CATE) BASED ON EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL IDENTITY

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the results of the author's empirical research to identify social identity and its significance in designing the development of a closed administrative-territorial entity (CATE). The relevance of the sociological analysis of CATE in the context of the methodology of the project approach is substantiated, the author's conclusions and recommendations are made regarding the directions for the de‐ velopment of this type of project cities. The project approach, which is based on the principles, elements and concepts of the theory of social management, was used as the main research method. The project nature of the organization and development of CATE can be manifested through an analysis of the assessments and opinions of its residents, the key actors in relationships in the urban environment. In this regard, the study used field methods of sociological analysis: a questionnaire survey and a semi-formalized interview. It has been established that it is also necessary to evaluate the problems and propose solutions in the context of the design features of the urban environment, the dynamics and problems of the development of relationships between key actors. logy, which allows looking at the nature of the origin, features and directions of development of this specific local society in a fundamentally different context. Social identity is formed, in many respects, on the basis of the value core of the involvement of subjects and actors of management (residents, management of the city- forming enterprise, administration, public activists, etc.), which is an integral part of the CATE project. On the basis of the research data, the author comes to the conclusion that involvement remains as part of the value core of identity, however, not in the active phase. For the most part, relations between key subjects and actors of the urban environment are fragmented and atomized.
